THE WATERSHED Goes to San Francisco International Ocean Film Fest

We’re looking forward to March! Not because it means that winter’s almost over (we can hope), but it’ll be time for our West Coast premiere of our short documentary The Watershed! We’re thrilled to be invited to the 12th Annual San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival, one of the only film festivals on this blue planet to focus completely on our oceans. It seems like a match made in heaven, since we’re one of the only production companies in the world to focus on the ocean, and water-related issues!

Inspired by a similar ocean film festival in Toulon, France, SFIOFF was the first of its kind in North America. Film themes range from marine science and industry to sports, surfing, and adventure. Curated from around the world, the films are intended to entertain, educate, and encourage active participation in ocean conservation. It seems like The Watershed will be in good company!

If you happen to be in the Bay Area, our screening will take place in a shorts program at 4 PM on Sunday, March 1. All the screenings are taking place at the Fort Mason Center’s Cowell Theater in the Marina District. (Online ticket sales will go live on Friday, January 23.) There’s also going to be a killer wrap party at Aquatic Park right after the screening!
