We first began working with John Cira’s Yellow Stretch/Red Hook installation in August of 2012 at the Hyannis Harbor Arts Center.

Watch as dancer/choreographer DeAnna Pellecchia, co-founder of the Kairos Dance Company, enthusiastically dismantles the installation with an electrifying extemporaneous performance closed the installation’s run.

In May 2016, we again collaborated with John and DeAnna in a one-night performance at Cotuit Center for the Arts. Accompanied by revered pianist Kenny Warner, DeAnna’s creative, playful, and powerful movement again destroyed John’s nylon and steel sculpture – cries of “encore” had to be ignored.
