Rainy Day is a Martha’s Vineyard institution, offering tasteful gifts and useful items from its convenient location on Vineyard Haven’s Main Street.

But as locals know, it’s hard to base a business on a busy season that lasts just three months (or 6 weeks, depending who you ask). That’s why Rainy Day decided to revamp its website and expand its marketplace to online shoppers.

Working with store co-owner Heather Kochin and set designer/stylist Jen McKeon, UCP photographer Daniel Cojanu took two days to shoot an incredible selection of the store’s inventory. Set inside the store, in natural settings, and even a kid’s birthday party, he truly captured the magic of Vineyard summer décor.
